Disney has announced this morning that production on
Alice in Wonderland: Through the Looking Glass
has started! Principal photography has commenced with its all-star cast
back for more, and some new faces joining the adventure as well.
Johnny Depp returns as the Mad Hatter,
with Mia Wasikowska back as the title character. And look for Anne
Hathaway and Helena Bonham Carter returning in their royal roles.
Michael Sheen is once again the White Rabbit, Timothy Spall’s back as
Bayard, Stephen Fry returns as the Cheshire Cat and Alan Rickman
slithers back as the Blue Caterpillar.
Alice in Wonderland: Through the Looking Glass will features
newbies joining the cast, including Sacha Baron Cohen as Time and Rhys
Ifans as Zanik HIghtopp (the Mad Hatter’s father).
James Bobins (
The Muppets,
Muppets Most Wanted) is directing this time out, with Tim Burton serving as producer.
